> UK law once you earn over £85,000 a year you have to pay 20% VAT (there’s more to it, but I pay accountants to do this)
What about a non English man registered his company in UK? Does that apply to him? I hear that all companies registered in UK should pay 19% of their total income as a tax i.e there no threshold and they don't cut just from the profits but from all income. Is that true?
About the same age as you. Quit my job to try something on my own over the past year, and while I don't have much to complain, I do see my salaried colleagues sailing past me. Exciting times ahead :)
I will try to set myself some goals as you have, and work towards achieving it.
Love reading your honest posts. Wish you hit your goals soon.
Goodluck on the experiment. I wish you success!
Thanks Nosa, will report on the results :)

Hi Younes, a question for an accountant!
Good Luck Michael.
I am currently in a similar state as you.
About the same age as you. Quit my job to try something on my own over the past year, and while I don't have much to complain, I do see my salaried colleagues sailing past me. Exciting times ahead :)
